In 2018, our team had been investing individually in farmland for over a decade. Because of our backgrounds in agriculture, we knew about farmland’s appeal, but recognized the high cost of entry and the burden of farm management kept farmland inaccessible to the average investor. At the same time, we saw an opportunity to provide farmers with innovative routes to capital for expansion. Using our combined experience in finance, tech, and agriculture, we created the first accessible farmland investments platform.

Dallas serves as AcreTrader’s Director of Platform Operations, bringing an efficient and results-oriented approach to managing each deal through its lifecycle on the AcreTrader platform. After growing up in Northeast Mississippi and earning his undergraduate degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mississippi State, Dallas moved to Northwest Arkansas and began work at J.B. Hunt, building years of experience in logistics engineering, operations, and pricing. Since joining AcreTrader in 2021, Dallas has also worked on the Investor Relations, Marketing, and Platform Operations team and earned his Series 99 license with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
