In the latest USDA Census of Agriculture, we saw that Mississippi produced and sold a total of $6.2 billion worth of agricultural products, of which, Livestock, Poultry and their products accounted for 63%, while field, nursery, and greenhouse crops made up 37% of sales. In 2018, Mississippi was the number 4 exporter of Cotton and number 5 exporter of Broilers in the United States.
