Garrott has deep roots in the Mississippi Delta, where he grew up as the fifth generation on his family’s farm. Previously, as a partner at Oxbow Agriculture, he co-managed a group of agricultural businesses involving over $200 million worth of land and over $40 million in annual revenues. While at Oxbow, Garrott also advised agricultural startups on their early go-to-market strategies, product development, and testing. Prior to joining Oxbow in 2014, Garrott worked at SouthernSun Asset Management, a value-oriented investment firm, where he was on the real estate and operations teams. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2010 with dual degrees in Art History and Environmental Studies. As COO of AcreTrader, Garrott has been instrumental in the scaling of AcreTrader and Acres and delivering go-to market strategies to ensure buying and selling land becomes common, transparent, and easy.
